Meet Whitney.

Founder & Executive Director

Whitney Scarborough is Woven’s Founder and Executive Director. She is passionate about helping women know God through His Word and experience the kind of authentic community that encourages lifelong faith.

As the daughter of a pastor, Whitney grew up with a deep love for the local church. After attending the University of Georgia, she and her husband served overseas in Bolivia and the Dominican Republic before returning to the United States to continue working in ministry. Their family's journey eventually brought them to La Grange, where God began opening doors that would become Woven.

Whitney believes that when women are equipped to know God through Scripture, the impact extends far beyond the individual woman—to her family, her relationships, and her community. She loves watching women gather around God's Word, form meaningful friendships, and discover the richness of following Jesus alongside one another.

When she's not leading Woven, you'll usually find Whitney spending time with her family and friends, reading a good book, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, or dreaming about the next opportunity to bring women together.
