Statement of Faith

Our faith shapes everything we do—from the way we approach Scripture to the way we gather, serve, and live in community. These foundational beliefs guide Woven's teaching and ministry.

Our Statement of Faith

o1.
We believe in the One True, Living God who reveals Himself through the Holy Scriptures and His creation.

o2.
We believe God is triune, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has always existed in perfect relationship and unity with Himself.

o3.
We believe God created man and woman in His image to live in eternal relationship with Himself and one another.

o4.
We believe humanity’s violation of God’s set boundaries caused sin to separate us from God. This brokenness affects all of creation.

o5.
We believe God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, as a sacrifice for us. Jesus lived a sinless life, was crucified, and resurrected from the dead.

o6.
We believe that all of humanity is in need of salvation to bring forgiveness of sins, restore our relationship with God, and give us eternal life. This is an unconditional gift through personal faith in Jesus Christ alone.

o7.
We believe God sent His promised Holy Spirit to indwell, comfort, empower and guide believers to know and follow Him.

o8.
We believe the Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God which tells the story of His love, communicates the truth, and equips us for the abundant life He intended.

o9.
We believe the church, made up of all who profess Christ, is called to share His good news, facilitate reconciliation, and demonstrate unity in diversity.

10.
We believe Jesus will return, restore all of creation to Himself, and live eternally with the resurrected body of believers. We joyfully await the fullness of His glory.
